Kristy Hammond

Kristy Hammond

Kristy Hammond is a trader, responsible for buying, selling and hedging nonferrous metals.

Prior to joining Kataman, Kristy was Director of Metals Sourcing for General Cable, where she managed an annual metal spend of more than $1.5 billion. Kristy also served as nonferrous metals trader for the David J. Joseph Company, now a subsidiary of Nucor.

Kristy has more than 30 years of metals industry experience and was the fourth generation to own and operate her family’s aluminum foundry in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Kristy is the Chairwoman of the Board of the Mid-America Chapter ISRI. She served as a Division Chair of the Aluminum Association and has been an active member of the American Copper Council, North American Die Casting Association, Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society, Steel Founders Society of America, and the American Foundry Society.

Kristy earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and an Executive MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
