Rick DeMass
Rick L. DeMass is Director of Ferrous Trading Operations for Kataman Metals, responsible for all ferrous trading operations, risk management, logistics and steel toll conversion programs.
Prior to joining Kataman, Mr. DeMass spent 10 years with Koch Industries – the largest privately held company in the United States – in various trading roles involving bulk products including Managing Director, Cement Services; Managing Director Koch Oil Marketing, S.A., Cayman Islands; and Director Asia Origination and Trading.
Prior to Koch, Mr. DeMass spent 12 years with the David J. Joseph Company (Now a part of Nucor Steel, NYSE: NUE), most recently as Director of International Ferrous Trading based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mr. DeMass received an MBA in Finance from University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor’s degree from Westminster College. Mr. DeMass has lived in Thailand and is fluent in Thai.
